Rocker There are two different Swiss Army brands; Wenger, and Victorinox (though Victorinox recently bought Wenger, according to Wikipedia). The Wenger brand tends to cater more to the economy market, and I think it shows in this Eau De Toilette. It's a decent fragrance, but like another comment said, it doesn't last very long. I'd also add that it's not very distinctive. It reminds me somewhat of the old Brut cologne or an aftershave. Keep in mind that it's an "Eau De Toilette"; it's a little weaker than a "Parfume" -- which isn't bad, it just means you have to use a little more to get the same level of scent. I'm not unhappy with it, but I don't think I'd get it again now that I've tried it out. Be careful buying fragrance online, especially popular ones. Now I think it is worth spending extra [...] bucks and buying at the local store. If you still buy it online - it's a good idea to do a blind test. Just go to a local store grab some paper strips that they use for testers, spray the tester from the store on half of them and yours on the other half (don't forget to mark which one is which). If after that you can easily tell which one is which not looking at the mark, there is a good chance that one is fake. You can also compare how long they last. By =VîNZ= To those who aren't comfortable receiving the box unsealed, just so you know, the box originally comes that way, even when you buy it from a retail store. One way to tell if someone may have tampered with the bottle is to smell the sprayer. This definately has a strong spicy masculine smell. Some men may prefer it. I really wouldn't say an appropriate work cologne. Better for romance . Although like I said it has a strong smell. I've worn primarily green/citrus scents for years--Hugo Boss Woman, Happy to Be--and was very happy with them. I smelled this first on a scent strip and was intrigued; it had the crispness I like in the greener scents, but also a softness I've missed in my scents, an unexpected light musk richness. I have weird chemistry & most scents are dicey on me, so I tried this half a dozen times before purchasing, and every time I tried it, I found something new to love. I'm 30--well beyond wishing to smell 'cute'--and this fragrance is exactly what I'm growing into, a scent for a sophisticated woman. It's not old, it's not young; it's mature, and equally appropriate with a sweater and jeans or evening wear. The only scent I bother with anymore. I've had great success with the life of the scent--I put it on at 8am and my husband can still smell it on me at bedtime--but I prefer that it be subtle enough that only a person standing next to me smell it; perhaps some who find it short-lived prefer a bolder scent. Misunderstood cologne By Syed Ali Rizvi Jr. I've read some of the bad reviews here and how they describe the scent and began to ask myself, "why did they buy this in the first place?" I found this for super cheap on Amazon and decided to make this a blind buy after reading some reviews about it. The reviews from other sites mentioned it was a more sophisticated version of Davidoff's Cool Water, but it really isn't. I got this home and decided to try it on, thinking it might have notes of citrus, but this cologne is nothing but an aquatic. At first I was disappointed, but then realized just looking at the design of the box and bottle that this cologne was meant recreate the crisp, clean, and fresh scent coming from the ocean. It's fresh, aquatic, and has a hint of blueberry. I'm currently trying to finish up my sporty fragrances, before making this my everyday cologne.
